Last weekend was the end of Ramadan, and here it is a 4 day weekend.  Yesterday we were invited to spend the day at a Red Sea resort with some new friends.  An hour’s drive from Cairo and you are at a nice sandy beach in front of a top class hotel sipping chilled red wine and having a picnic.  In very good company too, I might add.
